Glacier FC Hires New Head Coach

Glacier FC has officially announced the appointment of Juan Martinez as Head Coach for the upcoming 2026 season, bringing in a highly experienced leader with a strong track record in player development and program building.
Martinez arrives with more than 20 years of coaching experience across Wyoming and Colorado. Over the course of his career, he has spent 16 years working with a variety of respected organizations, including youth, semi-professional, and collegiate programs. His résumé includes time with the Colorado Rapids, Colorado Select, Olympic Development Program (ODP), Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), Elite Club National League (ECNL), United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), and the collegiate level. He also holds a USSF B License, underscoring his commitment to high-level coaching standards.
Currently, Martinez serves as Director of Coaching for U10 through U19 teams and Director of Goalkeeping at Roaring Fork United. In this role, he oversees player development pathways and contributes to coaching education within one of Western Colorado’s largest soccer clubs.
Since 2019, Martinez also led Indios Denver FC's WPSL team as Head Coach and Technical Director. During his tenure, he built a well-respected program focused on advancing players to collegiate and professional opportunities, further solidifying his reputation as a developer of talent.
Entering his seventh season in the WPSL, Martinez brings a combination of experience, leadership, and long-term vision to Glacier FC. The club expects his appointment to play a key role in shaping a competitive and development-focused team as it prepares for the 2026 campaign.
